Main features of Josip Konta's artworks:

The theme of artworks is often a critique of alienation and the various states of the human spirit and its position in society. Sculptural techniques, or the imperfect structure of sculptures, symbolically signify the imperfection of human. Horses mostly represent the human alter ego, the desired better self, but the almost impossible achievable better self.

It is important to emphasize, the observer is free to interpret each sculpture as he wishes, it is a matter of personal impression to which the artist gives complete freedom.

Note:

Josip Konta's sculptures made in bronze can be the only original copies
limited to eight copies (1/1 - 1/8), and four artist's copies (EA I/IV - IV/IV).
